Small Business Technical Assistance

The application period for the second round of the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans is open and applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until March 31, 2021 (as of now). New borrowers and some existing PPP borrowers can apply.

How to Apply
SBA is currently accepting Second Draw PPP loan applications from participating lenders. Check with your bank to inquire if they are doing PPP loans or go here to find a lender.
The Baltimore Development Corporation (BDC) is working directly with these Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) partners to extend PPP loans to new customers, with an emphasis on sole-proprietors and smaller businesses.
The grant application period has closed. All applicants will be notified via email by middle of March regarding the status of their grant. Please check your junk or spam folder if you do not receive an email from the Baltimore Development Corporation by March 18.
Economic Injury Disaster Loans
Maryland businesses are eligible to apply for Economic Injury Disaster Loans through the US Small Business Administration. For more information, visit the SBA website.
Design for Distancing: Reopening Baltimore Together
BDC is partnering with Neighborhood Design Center to develop tactical design concepts for urban public space configurations that can be implemented to create safe, socially distancing patronage of small businesses in our Main Streets and commercial corridors. These design concepts will become part of a free digital Pattern Book with not just the designs, but also additional resources that anyone can use to implement these concepts. Maryland Manufacturing Network
Maryland Manufacturing Network is a platform for PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) SUPPLIERS to share their current resources and capabilities and for BUYERS to identify these suppliers and share their current and upcoming needs.
